DICKIES® SPONSORS COUNTRY MUSIC GREAT PAT GREEN
Two Texas Icons Partner For the First Time

FORT WORTH, Texas (June 4, 2007) – Two Texas icons – Dickies®, the leading global workwear brand, and Pat Green, one of the hardest working men in music – are coming together for the first time.  Dickies announces its sponsorship of Pat Green who will tour the U.S as the companies newest spokesperson.
Dickies is a sponsor of the Professional Bull Riders Association (PBR) and of NASCAR with the Dickies 500.  This sponsorship is another example of Dickies taking a grassroots approach to recognizing and celebrating the everyday worker – the everyday hero – by supporting the music and pastimes that they enjoy.
“Pat Green has long been a music icon in Texas and we’ve watched him steadily rise to the top of county’s who’s who list Nationwide.  Like Pat, our core customers around the nation are everyday workers and heroes who love their Dickies and country music,” said Jon Ragsdale, vice president of marketing and business development for Dickies.  “As the leading workwear brand, we are immensely proud to sponsor and be associated with someone like Pat Green.”
A three-time Grammy nominee, Pat Green has scanned more than 2 million albums and sells  out venues across the country from the Nokia Theater in Time Square to the Houston Astrodome.   His signature sound and famously energetic shows have made him an undeniable force in country music while earning him high praise with fans and critics alike. USA TODAY proclaims Green  “is the heartland rocker that country music has needed for years.” His current album, “Cannonball,” on BNA Records made its debut at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Country Album Chart and it’s debut single, “Feels Just Like It Should,” marked the highest debut on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart in 2006.  Currently Green is out on the biggest Country Music tour of the season as part of label mate Kenney Chesney’s Flip Flop Summer tour which plays Stadiums, Arenas and Amphitheaters across the country through the summer.
“I’m a big fan of Dickies and have been wearing their clothing for years” said Green. “As a Texas native, it is a thrill to partner with a celebrated brand from the Lone Star State. Partnering with them feels like coming home, and I look forward to playing for thousands of fans in my Dickies.”
